150 points, the cheese of the month
One point per dollar cut. At the threshold, the customer leaves with whatever you're featuring that month, the one you want them to taste.
Cheese shops and cheesemongers
Updated
Your big moments aren't random: the first Alpine wheels, the first spoonable washed rind, the holiday week when the line runs out the door. The card counts every cut in points and tells customers when their cheese is back.

By writing to them at the right moment, and by counting what they buy by weight. A cheesemonger runs on aging schedules: the first Alpine wheels in the fall, raclette nights in winter, fresh goat cheese in spring. As of October 22, 2026, StampyWallet puts your card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, adds a point for every dollar you cut, and lets you write the arrival message in advance for the day and hour you choose. Card and points from $29 a month in the US (€20 in Europe, £19 in the UK); scheduled messages and customer groups on Growth ($49, €40, £35). If most of your sales go through an online store, check what that platform already offers first.
A cheese shop loyalty card, in StampyWallet, is a points card kept on the customer's phone: the cheesemonger types the total for the cut, the card earns that many points, and the reward (a cheese of the month, a board) appears once the threshold is reached. The shop's messages land on the lock screen of everyone who saved it.
By weight, by pointA $7 wedge of cheddar, a $60 party board: each earns what it cost, to the dollar.
The arrivals messageWritten on a Sunday, sent Thursday at 9am, the morning the wheel lands on your cutting board.
December's customersPeople who only come for the holidays end up in a group, ready to hear from you next winter.
The cheesemonger's reward
Offer something that shows off your case rather than a discount: a cheese you picked brings people back to buy it. Three setups, with thresholds given as examples.
One point per dollar cut. At the threshold, the customer leaves with whatever you're featuring that month, the one you want them to taste.
One stamp per visit, whatever the total: the setup for the regular who grabs a piece every Saturday at the market hall.
Two tiers: the pairing comes early and gets people building plates, the board rewards those who host often.
Keep wine out of it: if you also sell bottles, leave them out of rewards and messages, since alcohol promotions are regulated and the rules vary by state.
At the cutting board
The cheese wire stays on the board. Once the paper is folded and labeled, the customer holds out their phone and you scan their code: one stamp for the visit, or the points for the amount if your card counts by the dollar.

1They show their cardOpen in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, like a boarding pass. Your phone reads the code across the counter.
2One tap to confirmThe screen shows their first name and what the card is about to earn. In points mode you type the total first.
3Their card moves right awayThe Wallet updates within a second, with a lock-screen notification.
Saturday, three behind the caseEach staff member scans with their own phone after an invite link. They only get the scanner.
A point per dollar, rounded down$23.80 makes 23 points: no decimals to explain, and anyone can check it in their head.
The reward in the same motionWhen the count is reached, the scanner shows "Reward earned": you hand it over on that visit and the card starts again.
The cheesemonger's year
Alpine cheeses from the summer pastures arrive in the fall, raclette carries the winter, fresh goat cheese the spring. You know these dates months ahead: write the message when you have a minute, and the card delivers it the day the cheese comes in.
Written early, sent on your scheduleUp to two months ahead, for a day and time between 7am and 10pm, shop time. On Growth.
One message a day, no moreThe app lets one message a day leave each shop: customers won't get the Alpine wheels and the raclette on the same morning.
On the lock screen, no appIt arrives as a Wallet notification for everyone who kept your card.
Holiday customers
Part of your clientele shows up once a year for the holiday board. Eleven months later they still have your card on their phone, and the Messages screen has already sorted them for you.
A group that keeps itself current"Away 90+ days" gathers everyone with no visit in three months. A customer who comes back drops out of it on their own.
Best customers, by the dollarWhen your visits carry an amount, "Best customers" ranks the 20% who spend the most over 90 days: the people to tell first about the first wheel of the season.
Writing to a group takes GrowthEssential writes to all your customers; Growth adds groups, automatic win-backs and scheduled messages.
Gift card
Sell a five-cheese board as a gift card at the counter: for hosts, a colleague who's leaving, parents who entertain. StampyWallet emails it with the buyer's note, or texts it where texting is available; the recipient adds it to their Wallet and comes to pick the cheeses with you. On Growth.

Cheesemonger questions
Points per dollar if customers buy by weight: a small wedge and a party board aren't the same, and a point per dollar says so without math. A stamp per visit suits a shop of regulars with steady purchases.
We'd advise against it. Alcohol promotions and giveaways are regulated, the rules vary from state to state, and a reward shown on the card or announced by message counts as promotion. Keep the rewards on the cheese side; wine pairing advice stays at the counter.
Yes, on Growth: write the message ahead and pick the day and time, up to two months out, between 7am and 10pm. It goes out on its own; one message a day can leave your shop.
They stay on your list with their card. In early December the "Away 90+ days" group pulls them together: one message to that group announces your boards without writing to people who come every week.
No. The card shows their points balance and next reward, not their purchases. The amount you type is used for the math and for your numbers, in your account.
As of October 22, 2026, Essential is $29 a month before tax in the US (€20 in Europe, £19 in the UK) for the card, points by amount and messages to all customers; Growth is $49 (€40, £35) with scheduled messages, groups, win-backs, gift cards and Google review requests. Thirty-day trial, no commitment.
Your logo, a point per dollar, the cheese of the month as the reward, and the sign taped to the cold case.
