Who builds StampyWallet, and why.
StampyWallet is a digital stamp loyalty card that lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with no app to install. It is made for independent local shops: coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, hair salons, beauty studios, florists.
What StampyWallet does
The customer scans a QR code at the counter and the card is added to their phone, in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. You stamp it from your own phone: no tablet, no reader, no app, for you or for them. The card can count stamps, points or tiers.
Because the card knows who comes in and when, StampyWallet spots the regulars who are drifting away and can send them the right message on their lock screen. It also handles Google review requests and birthday messages, with the settings you choose.
Why
Paper cards get lost, end up in the wrong wallet, and tell the shop nothing: there is no way to see who stopped coming. Loyalty apps ask customers to install something for a single shop, and most of them say no.
Everyone already carries a phone, and it already has a wallet. StampyWallet starts there: a card that cannot be lost, that is added in seconds while you hand back the change, and that finally gives a neighborhood shop what large chains have had for years.
The rules we keep
- A customer's card and stamps never depend on the shop's subscription. A stopped subscription pauses the dashboard, never the card.
- By default, customers are only asked for an optional first name. Any other field is shown on the sign-up page, and the year of birth is never asked.
- Your data belongs to you: CSV export at any time, and a deleted account is erased, not archived.
- We also say what the product does not do: no payments, no prepaid cards, no gift vouchers, no referral program, no dedicated app.
