How you count

You count the way you already count.

A free coffee every tenth visit. Two rewards on one card. Or points, because the basket is never the same twice. Three ways to count — you pick one, and nothing holds you to it.

How you count

Stamps Ten visits, one reward, and the card starts again. Several rewards One at the fifth visit, another at the tenth. Points Each visit is worth whatever you decide, at the moment you scan.

One mode at a time. Switch whenever you like — nobody signs up again.

Three waysStamps, tiers or points. One mode at a time, chosen in a click.

Six shortcutsIn points mode, six values set in advance and offered with one thumb on the scan screen.

One scanPoints included: you pick the value before you aim, so it stays a single move.

Side by side

Three ways to count, three cards.

Same app, same counter, same move. What changes is what the customer sees in their phone — and what they are chasing.

Stamps

For a product with a steady price

Ten visits, one reward, and the card starts again. The cardboard punch card, only better: it doesn't get lost, it doesn't get wet, and it counts on its own.

Several rewards

For giving reasons to keep going

A glass at the tenth visit, a dessert at the twentieth, a meal at the fortieth. Someone who has just earned one doesn't go back to zero: they can already see the next.

Points

For baskets that change

A visit is worth whatever you decide at the moment you scan. An €8 book and a €30 book should not count the same — and you can call them anything you like: points, seeds, coffees.

Three shops, three ways of counting. You only ever run one — the one that looks like what you already do by hand.

Tiers

Several rewards on the same card.

You set the thresholds and what each one gives. The card shows the NEXT reward, never the last one: that is the one the customer is chasing.

The threshold, the reward, the signThree fields per tier. The sign lands on the card, in the exact slot where it is won: the customer sees what is coming, and at which square.

The drawing follows the numberUp to about thirty visits, squares to fill. Beyond that, a signposted track: two hundred squares cannot be counted at a glance.

Going back down costs somethingDrop back to plain stamps and we keep the last threshold — the one your customers know — while the tiers in between are removed. We would rather tell you here than let you find out.

The two marked squares are the rewards. The one at five is already won; the one at ten is still waiting, hollow.

Points mode

The value is set before you aim.

This is the one mode where your move changes a little. And we put it on the right side of the scan: you set the value, then you aim. The customer still only ever sees one scan.

Your shortcuts, one thumb awayUp to six values, set in advance. Any other amount is typed in, and the default value comes back after every scan: two coffees in a row ask nothing more of you.

Call them whatever you likePoints, seeds, coffees, stars. The word you write once is the word the customer reads on the card and in their notifications.

Nothing to type in front of the customerNo amount to key in while they wait: the value is already set when you open the camera. That is exactly why points-by-amount-typed-at-the-counter was ruled out.

Your till

Your till can do the counting for you.

Points mode knows how to read an amount: so many euros, so many points. The rule already sits in your settings. All that is left is plugging in the till.

  • SumUp, Zettle, or the till you already have.
  • The hook-up is done by hand, with you: you write, we look at your till together, we plug it in.
  • Included in the subscription, at no extra cost.

We are not selling you a “connect my till” button that works for a month and breaks on the first update. You write to us with the name of your till, we look at what you have, we plug it in. And if your till cannot talk to anything, we say so plainly instead of keeping you waiting.

Questions

What people ask us about counting.

Can I change how I count later on?

Yes, in the card settings, in one click. Cards already in phones follow along, and your customers' counters do not move. One thing to know: if you drop back from several rewards to a single tier, we keep the last threshold — the one your customers know — and the tiers in between are removed.

What is the difference between tiers and points?

Tiers count visits: the tenth and the twentieth each give something. Points count a value you choose at the moment you scan, so an €8 basket and a €30 basket do not weigh the same. Tiers when the product has a steady price, points when the basket changes from one customer to the next.

Do I have to type an amount in front of the customer?

No. In points mode the value is set before you aim at the card: your shortcuts are right there, one thumb is enough, and the default value comes back after every scan. The customer sees a single scan, exactly as in the other modes.

What are the points called in my shop?

Whatever you call them. Points, seeds, coffees, stars: you write the word once in the settings, and that is the word the customer reads on the card, in notifications and on their web page.

Can my till add the points on its own?

That is the plan, and it is hooked up by hand, with you: SumUp, Zettle or whatever you already have. The “so many euros, so many points” rule already sits in your settings, waiting for the amount the till will send — it does nothing until the hook-up is done, and the setting itself says so. Write to us with the name of your till: it is included in the subscription.

Start simple. Change your mind later.

Stamps take two settings and a card is ready. Tiers and points are waiting for the day you need them — and moving from one to the other is a single click.
