With account · Writes (confirm).

Adds a closing period (holidays, a public holiday), from the first to the last day included. Closed days don't count in a customer's absence: properly declared holidays stop regulars from looking "lost" and getting a win-back message when you reopen. Optionally, prevenir_clients=true with a text also prepares a notification to all customers (same rules as envoyer_message: one message per day). confirmer=false (default) returns a preview; confirmer=true saves (and sends the message if requested), after the person's explicit approval.

## Parameters

- `du` (string (date), required) : First closed day (YYYY-MM-DD).
- `au` (string (date), optional) : Last closed day, included (YYYY-MM-DD). By default, the same day as du.
- `libelle` (string, ≤ 80 characters, optional) : Name of the period, to keep track ("Summer holidays").
- `prevenir_clients` (boolean, optional) : true: also sends a notification to all customers with texte. Counts as the message of the day. Default : false.
- `texte` (string, ≤ 180 characters, optional) : Text of the notification to customers (180 characters at most), if prevenir_clients=true.
- `confirmer` (boolean, optional) : false (default): only returns a preview of what would be done, without changing anything. true: carries it out. Always show the preview to the person and wait for their approval before calling again with true. Default : false.

## Response

A text the assistant reads (`content`), and the same information as structured data (`structuredContent`). When a call is refused (a parameter to fix, plan, role), the response has `isError: true` and a sentence the assistant can rephrase.

> **Warning :** this tool writes. Called with `confirmer: false` (the default), it only returns a preview, without changing anything. The assistant must show it to you and wait for your approval before calling again with `confirmer: true`.

## Example

Prompt : « I'm closed from December 24 to 31, let my customers know. »

```json
{
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1,
  "method": "tools/call",
  "params": {
    "name": "ajouter_conges",
    "arguments": {
      "du": "2026-12-24",
      "au": "2026-12-31",
      "libelle": "Holiday season",
      "prevenir_clients": true,
      "texte": "We are closed from December 24 to 31. Happy holidays, see you soon!",
      "confirmer": false
    }
  }
}
```

```bash
curl https://app.stampywallet.com/mcp \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $STAMPY_JETON" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"ajouter_conges","arguments":{"du":"2026-12-24","au":"2026-12-31","libelle":"Holiday season","prevenir_clients":true,"texte":"We are closed from December 24 to 31. Happy holidays, see you soon!","confirmer":false}}}'
```

`$STAMPY_JETON` is the OAuth token the assistant gets when you connect your account ([see Connect](https://stampywallet.com/en/docs/mcp/connect/#connexion)). You don't have to handle it yourself.
